One might say John Pieper may have been born with insurance genes! Growing up the son of a State Farm agent John learned early in his career that his focus will always be about educating individuals, families, farmers and businesses on how the insurance products that he offers can reduce or eliminate the risks we are faced with every day! John was a captive agent for American Family for 17 years before opening Northland Insurance Solutions in 2013. John graduated from the University of Wisconsin at River Falls with a degree in business finance.

John is married to Katie and they have 3 children. John has enjoyed coaching his children’s youth sports teams but he especially enjoys driving the Zamboni resurfacing the ice for the Prior Lake Savage youth hockey program. John also is a Laker Athletic Booster Club rep and helps raise funds to support the Prior Lake Boy’s High School Hockey Program. In his leisure time John enjoys hunting and fishing but especially enjoys the challenges of Golf.
